Until 2007 this Zinc plant had to plan regular and costly shutdowns to clean its critical and hard to access areas. Online Cleaning was first employed in 2008, providing our online cleaning solutions to improve plant operations.
During normal operation the composition of the ash and fouling can differ greatly, as does the degree level of fouling. This requires close and constant monitoring, followed by a flexible cleaning analysis and adaptive cleaning method. Since our services were employed at the plant, it has increased availability and reduced costly unplanned stoppages due to fouling.
In 2013 Online Cleaning Technologies was taken on to carry out safety cleans within the ash pits and the waste-heat boiler. This cleaning takes place exclusively on reduced load, again increasing plant availability substantially.
